FreshBox Terms of Use (EULA)

These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and the publisher of FreshBox (the "App"). By installing or using FreshBox you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

If you obtained the App from the Apple App Store, the Apple Standard EULA also applies. In case of conflict, these Terms govern except where the Apple Standard EULA applies as a matter of law.

License

You are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to install and use FreshBox on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, in accordance with the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except as permitted by applicable law.
• Use the App to violate any law, infringe intellectual property, or attempt to abuse, overload, or interfere with our AI proxy service.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the App or any of its content.

Subscriptions and in-app purchases

FreshBox Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) and as a non-renewing lifetime purchase, all sold through the Apple App Store.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-renewing subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• The renewal is charged at the same price within 24 hours of the period end.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time from https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
• The lifetime purchase is a one-time, non-consumable purchase and does not renew. It can be restored on any device signed in to the same Apple ID.

Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with the App Store policies. Visit https://reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund.

Food safety disclaimer

FreshBox provides shelf-life estimates, recipe recommendations, and safety tips generated by software and AI models. These are general guidance only. They are not medical advice, allergy advice, or food-safety certification.

• Always inspect food before eating, regardless of what the App reports.
• Discard anything that smells, looks, or feels off.
• If you have allergies, dietary restrictions, or health conditions, verify ingredients independently.

You assume all responsibility for the food you decide to eat or serve to others.

AI-generated content

Recipe recommendations, cooking steps, and shelf-life estimates are produced by large language models. They may contain errors, omissions, or culturally inappropriate suggestions. Treat AI output as a starting point and apply your own judgement.

Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will the publisher be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of food, loss of profits, loss of data, or food safety incidents, arising out of or related to your use of the App.

Termination

These Terms remain in effect until terminated. We may suspend or revoke access to the AI proxy if we detect abuse. You may terminate at any time by deleting the App.

Changes

We may update these Terms. The new version takes effect when posted. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the publisher's primary jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction unless otherwise required by applicable consumer-protection law.
